Proofs Approved! Off to the Printer!

Hello Awesome Backers:
After a hectic weekend, I'm happy to announce that the proofs are off to the printer! It took a little more time than usual as I'm being extra careful this being my first hardback. (And I was being super picky about the foil.) It will take a few weeks before I get an ETA on the books, but as usual, I will keep you informed.
Also in the good news department,...the metal business cards have been ordered along with the puzzle. Both should be arriving in 2 to 3 weeks.
I am leaving for StokerCon in San Diego on Thursday, but I will start putting together Backerkit surveys and Pre-Order when I return.

Vol. 1 Hardback Production Update

Hello Awesome Backers:
We are deep into pre-press and should be finished soon. The design production looks gorgeous. The logo will be in two foil colors. The "Boston" and "Society" in silver, and "Metaphysical" in a blue hue. Then it will be off to the printer. We are behind the schedule I originally had planned out, but not significantly. (Isn't that always the case?) Once pre-press is done, and I have given final approval with the printer, it usually takes about six weeks for the books to arrive. This will probably put us at a July delivery date.
I have also ordered the holo stickers which should be delivered this week. I will order the metal business cards once we are done with pre-press.
A few have asked about a Vol. 2 hardback, and I'm strongly considering running a Kickstarter for that in the fall. I will keep you posted.

Digital Stretch Goals Sent and More Updates

I just sent out the Dropbox links for the digital stretch goal comic bundles through Kickstarter messaging. Please check your KS Inboxes to download them.
The art and coloring for the ten page bonus story is done and is in Troy's hands to letter. He tells me he should get to it early next week. He's quick, so I anticipate a short turnaround time then it will be off to pre-press. This does put us a tad behind my posted schedule, but not by much. I will keep you posted on our progress.
Since funds will be cleared by Monday, I will begin to order the holo stickers and the metal business cards. So, things are moving along.
I did want to mention two campaigns that are going on right now created by two friends of mine: Ray Chou and Mike Shea. Ray is doing a dog story, and who doesn't love dogs. Mike is back with a hardback of Miskatonic High Vol. 3.

Brief Update About What Comes Next

MJ has completed coloring six of the ten pages for the bonus story. When she's done, it will go to Troy to letter. Once the lettering is finished, it will go to pre-press. As usual, things are going slower than I'd like, but it's getting done. :)
As far as the stretch goal digital comics, they will go out to you thru KS messaging when the funds clear my account. That will be in a little over a week. Please look for those in your Kickstarter inboxes.
I'm sure there's something else which I've forgotten, but I'm sure I'll remember by the next update.

Thank you so much for your support. I'm so excited about this new hardback. It's going to be gorgeous. AND not only did we reach our final stretch goal, but we finished strong all because of you.
What happens next:
Kickstarter will be charging your credit cards so please make sure your credit card information is up-to-date.
(Note: Please be aware that Kickstarter only gives you a week to do that, otherwise your pledge is dropped and you miss out on all the goodies.)
Digital stretch goals will be sent through Kickstarter messaging once the money has cleared into my account. (That takes about 14 days.)
Progress:
MJ got a little behind, but she has finished inking the ten (10) page bonus story and is now coloring them. Once that is done, it will be off to Troy, my letterer. I've been keeping my pre-press person informed of the progress, and she'll start once all the assets are in her hands. We've come up with some cool ideas that I think you'll love.
Upcoming Events
I am at Clockwork Alchemy this weekend. After that, I will be at AnaCon which is being held at the Anaheim Central Library on April 27. And it is FREE! Please come and say hi if you are in the area. And on April 28, I will be at The Wine Blending Lab, pairing my comic to various wines!
