If you aren't familiar with Nimue and Tom's epic dark fantasy comic series, Hopeless, Maine, you are in for a treat! Hopeless, Maine began as a webcomic, but in the years since then it has also been published as a series of trade paperbacks as well.
This is an amazing study in world building, brilliant artwork, and complex storytelling, all set against a dark, gothic setting.

Everything has been shipped with the exception of about 20 missing surveys. (I literally just dropped off 50 boxes and/or Gemini mailers at USPS.) As usual, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow 24-48 hours for USPS to update it within their system. According to Pirateship.com, 274 have been delivered, and 29 are out for delivery today. So, yah!

A brief update to let you know that USPS picked up over 300 parcels from me yesterday. Here's our overall fulfillment status:
You have or will receive an email with the tracking number. Please note that it takes 24-48 hours for the USPS system to update after I dropped them off or they are picked up. I will try and get the rest done before I leave for Rose City Comic Con next week.

I'm waiting on Troy to finish lettering the cover before I reveal it, but it is amazing. Launch date is still set for Oct. 2, and I should have the notification link for you in my next update.

Surprise! The Books Arrived!

Hello Awesome Backers:
To my surprise the shipper called last night said, "hey, we can deliver your books tomorrow."
And they did.
Both the hardback and softback look great.
After we unload the pallets, I'll start signing and bagging. Packaging will start tomorrow. You should have already received your 48 hour Backerkit lock down notice in case you need to update your address or order something.
I will keep you posted on our progress.

Shipping Delay

Hello Awesome Backers:
I was informed last night that there have been delays at port, and the estimated delivery date to me is now August 29. That date could move forward or backward. Unfortunately, I have no control over that. I will, however, be sending out final notices through Backerkit this coming weekend in case you need to change an address.
On my end, I have all the packing material ready, items pre-packed, and other books signed and bagged. I apologize for the delay, but I will get the physical rewards out to you as soon as I can.
OTHER NEWS
Do to popular demand, I plan on launching a Kickstarter in October for the Vol. 2 special edition hardback. The cover is almost done, the brand new ten page story is with the colorist, and it will contain additional art. More on that later.
AND...for those of you in the Portland, OR area, I will be at Rose City Comic Con from Sept. 6-8. Artist Alley, Table E-28. Please stop by and say hi if you are there.
